Peruvian Shamanic Authentic Rattles (Sun Moon and Chakana)

These are gorgeous hand-crafted in the jungles of Peru especially for Soul Bling Jewelry. 

These are sacred ceremonial rattles from dried gourds with chonta wood handles. The gourds of the chonta tree are collected, dried and then carved by hand. Each rattle is completely unique for you as no two are the same.

It is a sturdy stick and each rattle has its own sacred sound to it. You can shake it softly or quickly to make a louder sound. 

Three different patterns to choose from:

Sun/Moon with Chakana--Sun/Moon—the sun represents you in your power while the moon represents your peace—the two together equals balance in your life
Chakana—A sacred Andean symbol representing you stepping into your spiritual awareness—a bridge to the otherworld 

Hummingbird with Flower--Hummingbird signals challenging times are over &
healing can begin

Butterfly with Flower--Butterfly is the symbol of new beginnings

Trimmed with colorful cotton thread windings both above and below the bowl and natural fibers.

Size: These rattles are about 8-10 inches long, and vary from 2.5-4 inches wide. They sound magical!

How to Use: We love to take these with us on walks in nature to shake and entrain our thoughts to the otherworlds. 

You can use these to play alongside the drum in ceremony or they sound great alone. 

We love to "wake up the ancestors" by shaking them whenever we visit sacred sites. 

They are great to practice Shamanic journeys with. There is no right or wrong to them, so have fun with them. But please place them somewhere special so they retain their spiritual qualities and special powers.
